Should I Disable IPv6 In Windows Vista & Windows 7?

Last month I wrote about 'How To Properly Disable IPv6 In Windows Vista And Windows 7' and I stated that 'it is safe to disable IPv6 if your ISPs not yet implement IPv6 in their services'. Well, after reading a few articles, it seems like the statement above is a little bit ... hmmm, you could say, not true!.

The fact is, even though your ISPs only using an IPv4, but if you trying to reach a website/s that has implementing IPv6 in their servers, you could end up with an error connections after you disabling IPv6 in Windows Vista or Windows 7.

It seems like, an IPv6 has been used by several major website/s now and I am not aware of it. For Windows XP users, it's time to migrate to the latest operating system because there is no IPv6 installed on Windows XP and you may experience some problems in accessing IPv6 website/s in the future. Yes, you can install this protocol in Windows XP, but to make it work is in doubt.

Raymond from www.raymond.cc has done an intensive test on one popular antivirus application that connecting to it update server/s with an error results because of a different internet protocol, the computer runs IPv4 and the update server on IPv6.

So, I hope you can make a conclusion after reading Raymond's article about the use of IPv6 on nowadays internet applications, read through here:
