Check Your Gmail Account For Possibility Of Unauthorized Logins

Gmail is a free, advertising-supported webmail, POP3, and IMAP service provided by Google. No doubt that Gmail are really tight in security from account hacking, spamming and unauthorized logins.

But, are you sure it is safe enough? Are you sure that you're the only person who logged into your account all these times? I am sure you will start thinking about it now.

If you're concerned about unauthorized access to your mail, you are able to use 'Last account activity' which is the feature in Gmail to find out if and when someone gained access. It's information you can use to troubleshoot unauthorized account activity.

Last account activity includes any times that your mail was accessed, using a regular web browser, through a POP client, from a mobile device, etc.

To use this feature, first log into your Gmail account or here for a quick link, After successful login scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on 'Details' link (shown in image below).

A pop-up window will open with the details on your recent account activities. The first important thing you should check from that activity list was these words --> 'This account does not seem to be open in any other location' <-- If these words that you get, that is good, otherwise it seem like your account has been logged by unauthorized person. To confirm this, please do a check on the listed IP addresses from which the access was made, as well as the time and date.

If you think that your account has been compromised, immediately change your password and your security question to prevent other unauthorized logins or hacked (in the other word) from recurring.

Please read Gmail Help on details about Last account activity and how to report to Gmail if you're unable to access your account.
